The Happy Secret to Better Work

Shawn Achor, author of The Happiness Advantage, is considered one of the world’s leading experts on the connection between happiness and success.

In his 2012 TED Talk he argues that happiness fuels success, not the other way around, He’s hilariously funny, gives practical advice on how to boost your happiness – so you can be more successful – and does all of this in twelve minutes.

Thanks for this. Have only recently figured out this relationship between happiness and success. I enjoyed Achor’s comments as well as the short, easy-to-implement action list at the end. This concept of happiness fueling success really underlies everything you do with helping people live their values and create the lives they want.

Thanks Caryn! The relationship between happiness and success really flips the more common perception that success fuels happiness. Everything really does shift when you focus on the happiness piece.
